Dinosaur Cake

These are not really the best pictures of this little Dino, here he looks rather like a funny horse. He had a tail that wrapped around the edge of the cake. I made the glaze icing a bit too runny so it wasn't dry enough when I plopped him on the cake and it cracked quite badly but for a cake made at 2 am and iced just before eating it was not too bad. It tasted good and didn't stay on the plate long.

What am I doing?..

It is 2.30am and I am baking and blogging when I should be sleeping but I seem to do my best work after midnight, maybe not the best blogging but you should see the cake! Good old Woman's Weekly basic butter birthday cake with lemon butter cream and purple marzipan dinosaur topped with pink marshmallow spines and pink marzipan stars! You just wait till I find the cable for the card reader. You will be amazed.

Happy Sweet 16 little cousin Chloe and a Happy Birthday Katie. Let's all have cake for breakfast in the morning.

Why do I never make it to bed before mid night?

Edit: Cute photo of exhausted boyWhere does the time go? Why is it that I can never make it to bed before mid night?
I even had both babies in bed before 8.30 tonight. I also had a cute photo to up load of my exhausted boy but can not find the cable so maybe tomorrow.
Put my 4 month old in front of Cbeebies tonight so I could put Alf on my back in the pouch to cook the dinner. He fell asleep with his hand on my cheep and head on my shoulder while I chopped the veg. He is still asleep. I think he is getting sick again.
Anyway it is bed time. Good night.

Patience...

I seem to have lost my patience. Maybe it is because I am tired but I am finding it hard too cope with out it. I don't know where it went or when I lost it but I want it back. If you find it, remember where I left it or have any to spare my kids and I will thank you.
